Critic Activity

Before developing the characters further, we gathered all the character sketches together for a final feedback as a group. The critic activity was done to practice how to give and receive feedback, and to make the characters more suited for our client, the museum. Also, this process helped add extra details to the characters together as a group.

Below are the character sketch set that we used for the critic activity.

The character set looked like the following after the critic activity, with feedbacks and notes.

The critics given during the process included the following:

• Add more concept details, and try drawing different sketch options.
• Don’t fixate on one design and try to be more creative with the process.
• Play around freely with proportion, character settings, poses, and style.
• Try sketching out multiple designs, and make multiple variations of the character sketches to help extract the best idea.
• Keep the character concept in mind, and think about how you can portray the concept of personality of the character
