After developing several characters, we organized a character sample proposal to present to the client for them to choose the most suitable character for the museum. The following is the character sample proposal with explanation for each characters.
List of Characters:
- Dragon
- Description: The animal that represented the royal family of the Korean Empire
- Main point: A character that represents the identity of the Koreans
- Props: Cintamani, the Korean flag, Winged Cap
- Tiger
- Description: The animal that represents the Korean Peninsula
- Main point: A character that represents a brave independent activist
- Props: Korean noblemen’s hat, the Korean flag, headband
- Students
- Description: Students that supported the Korean independence movement
- Main point: Uniforms and casual clothing
- Props: the Korean flag, books, water bottle

- Porcelain jar
- Description: Cultural heritage that was seized during the Japanese colonization era
- Main point: Series of characterized jars, the size and the shape of the jars
- Props: water, Korean traditional hat
- Coin
- Description: The currency used in the Korean Empire
- Main point: A character that symbolizes the value of Korea
- Props: Korean traditional hat
- Korean Peninsula
- Description: Symbolizes unified Korean Empire before the colonization
- Main point: Represents the unification of Korea
- Props: Suit worn during the time of enlightenment, hat
- Magpie
- Description: An animal that is told to bring good news
- Main point: A character that conveys information
- Props: Handkerchief, traditional Korean overcoat, clouds

The proposal was organized with all the character designs we created with individual character information listed together. We didn’t know the specific use for this mascot so we wanted to give them multiple options with various characteristics we developed together as a class.
Selected Character: Tiger
At the end, the Tiger character was selected to be further developed into a mascot for the project.
