Overview

The video explores the history of the Governor-General Building of Joseon during the Japanese colonization of Korea. The team learned about the entire video production process, spanning from pre-production, production, and post-production phases.

The video introduces the history of the Governor-General Building of Joseon which was located in Seoul from 1926 to 1996. The video not only introduces the historical building and the general government’s role during the colonial era but also introduces the historical background behind the construction of the building by the Empire of Japan and the colonial era.

Various effects such as cropping images, overlay footage, and transition effects were utilized during the production of this video.

The final deliverable will be presented at The Museum of Japanese Colonial History in Korea for their exhibition "Wars That Changed the Fate of the Korean Peninsula: 130 Years since the First Sino-Japanese War, 120 Years since the Russo-Japanese War" in order to help offer a basic understanding and insight for foreign guest.
