Project Overview

MU Objective

Project MU aimed to develop a mobile application, to collect and analyze various datasets and to set marketing strategies based on the contents provided by our client, the Museum of Japanese Colonial History in Korea.

The museum application encompasses exhibition translations, videos on the history of historical colonial buildings, museum mascots, and more. Various dashboards and short essays on colonial history were also created to aid visitors in understanding the colonial history of Korea.

Team Objective

The main objective of the Media Communications team was to create a character mascot and a character animation that will be used for presenting the museum’s contents on the mobile application.

Next Steps

Mascot Integration and Beyond

  1. Integration into Mobile App: The next crucial step involves seamlessly integrating the finalized mascot—the Tiger—into the mobile application developed for the Museum of Japanese Colonial History in Korea.
  2. Interactive Functions: Enhance the mascot's role as a virtual docent by expanding its interactive capabilities.
  3. Feedback and Iteration: Continuously gather user feedback and data analytics to iteratively improve the mascot's functionality.

Extended Applications and Collaborations

  1. Expanded Content: Explore avenues to expand the mascot's presence beyond the mobile application. Consider its use in marketing collateral, social media campaigns, or merchandise related to the museum.
  2. International Outreach: Utilize the mascot as a cultural ambassador for international outreach programs or exchanges.
